 Christopher's Monkeys

Christopher loved his monkeys and one of his favourite places was Monkey World in Dorset which he visited 3 times.  Each time we went, we always had a great day and brought home at least one new member for the Monkey family!

Whistler, who when his tummy is squeezed, makes a whistling sound. Sue bought Whistler the very first day we were at St George's - the day before first major surgery on 24th October 2006 

 

Super Monkey (here without his cape!), given to Christopher by Lucy at St George's hospital.

 

Door monkey who lived with his tail around Christopher's bedroom door handle.

 

This is Angie who came home with us from Monkeyworld - she's named after one of our neighbours who was one of Christopher's "playmates".

 

Jamie the Lima who came back from Monkeyworld with Angie.

Noisy Monkey who was a present from BA - he moves, grunts, burps and is very life-like!

 

Big Cheeks - one of Christopher's  favourites. He was a present on Christopher's 5th birthday from Sharon and Sam. 

 

Collie the Colobus monkey - a present from Chase. Collie is Billy's little brother.

 

Floppy monkey kept guard with his long arms wrapped around the end of Christopher's bed. He was a present from Vicky and David and arrived at Christmas time 2006.

 

Tufty was a present from Laura while Christopher was at Chase - he sadly wasn't able to spend time at home with Christopher. 

 

Cuddly King Louis was spotted and bought at Disneyworld Paris in May 2008 - our last family trip.

Charlie was bought for Christopher by Barbara.
Christopher and Charlie were inseparable.
Charlie went everywhere with Christopher and
accompanied him on his final journey........
